Effective 25 August 2026 · Last updated 27 August 2026
This policy explains how RootLiu Studio ("we", "us") handles information in the mobile apps and games we publish, including Inkpath. It applies to every app we release unless that app states otherwise.
We do not collect information that identifies you personally. We do not operate our own servers, and we have no user accounts or sign-in of any kind.
Our apps use services provided by Google, and those services collect limited technical information in order to work:
| What | Why | Handled by |
|---|---|---|
| Advertising ID | To show ads and limit how often the same ad is repeated | Google AdMob |
| Device & app info | Device model, operating system version, app version, language, and approximate region (country level) — used to deliver ads | Google AdMob |
| Purchase status | Whether an in-app purchase was completed, so we can unlock what you bought | Google Play Billing |
This information is tied to a randomly generated advertising identifier, not to you. We see it only as combined statistics, never as individual profiles.
Your level progress, unlocked themes, sound preference, and daily hint count are saved in your device's local app storage. This information stays on your device. It is not uploaded to us and it is not shared with anyone.
Deleting the app's data or uninstalling the app removes all of it permanently.
Our apps are free and are supported by ads served through Google AdMob. There are two kinds:
Google may use the advertising ID to show ads that are more relevant to you. You control this:
Google's own handling of this data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.
If you purchase the ad-free option, ads shown between levels stop appearing. Ads you choose to watch for rewards remain available if you want them.
We do not sell or rent information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or any party other than the services listed above.
Our apps are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through one of our apps, contact us and we will remove it.
Where an app is listed for a general audience that may include children, ads are configured as non-personalised and age-appropriate in line with Google Play's Families policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you, to object to how it is used, or to withdraw consent you previously gave.
Because we hold no account and no personal records, the fastest way to exercise these rights is directly on your device:
You may also write to us at the address below and we will help. To ask Google to remove analytics or advertising data associated with your device, follow the instructions in the Google links in section 05.
We do not store personal data ourselves, so there is nothing on our side to retain. Anonymous analytics data is retained by Google according to its own retention settings, which we set to the shortest period the service allows. Data stored on your device stays there until you remove it.
Because our apps hold no accounts and transmit no personal information to us, there is very little to expose. Data handled by Google is transmitted over encrypted connections and protected under Google's own security practices.
If we add a feature that changes what is collected, we will update this page and change the "last updated" date above before that feature is released. Significant changes will also be noted in the app's update description on Google Play.
